2017 MYSTERY FEST KEY WEST
June 16-18, 2017
The 4th Annual Mystery Fest Key West - Join your favorite mystery writers, aspiring writers, and mystery fans in America’s southernmost city! From South Florida's favorite storytellers to writers of international renown, this is a meet-and-greet where authors can catch up with old friends and readers can chat with their favorite mystery writers, collect signed books -- and participate in workshops, panels, and presentations where bestselling authors explain how and why they do it.
Headlining this year’s speakers are John Hemingway, a respected author as well as grandson of the famous Nobel Prize-winning writer; and Clifford Irving, author of popular mystery and legal thrillers, as well as being the man who went to prison for that faux Howard Hughes autobiography. You will also meet Randy Rawls, well-known mystery writer and former president of the Mystery Writers of America’s Florida Chapter.
Event registration includes all panels, presentations and four meals.

Key West has been a long-time writers' haven -- from Hemingway to Elizabeth Bishop to Tennessee Williams.
But it's also been an island of popular intrigue -- from the mystery novels of Laurence Shames to Stuart Woods, John Leslie, Tom Corcoran, John Hersey, Thomas McGuane, and Robert Stone.
"There is nothing to writing. All you do is sit down at a typewriter and bleed." - Hemingway
